Davao City – The Regional Underbone Grand Prix (RUGP) sets its eyes into high gear with a series of motorcycle road racing for Visayas and Mindanao.

Presented by ENEOS Motor Oil and The Racing Line productions, Jong Uy, race chairman and founder of the RUGP on its launching Monday, 17 February bared that the series begins this April 4 for the Mindanao Grand Prix in Davao City at the NCCC Victoria Plaza grounds for the Underbone 155 LTG GP and the Scooter 125 GP. It will then proceed to Tagum City on June 15 dubbed as the Honda Winner X Series.

The Visayas leg will be held on September 14 at Panglao, Bohol also known as the LYR Motor Parts and V-Man Racing Rookie Cup for Underbone 155 Open SP and the Scooter 125 Beginners. The last leg will be in Cebu City on October 15 for the Underbone 155 Open SP and the Scooter 125 SP.

“This is part of our drive to discover new and potential Underbone and Scooter riders in the Mindanao and Visayas Regions. As part of ENEOS Motor Oil motorsporting activity this is only a start. To follow are races for the cars and 4X4 vehicles,” said  Kanesugi Tomokazu, President of ENEOS Philippines.
